Liverpool Cruise Port, a part of the Global Ports Holding (GPH) network of ports, is pleased to announce a Community Cruise Port Recruitment Day on Wednesday, 4 March. The initiative aims to strengthen the local maritime workforce and provide a transparent platform for residents to explore diverse career pathways within port, terminal, and transport operations.
The event, delivered in collaboration with Liverpool In Work, underscores the port’s commitment to inclusive recruitment and local economic integration. By facilitating direct engagement between job seekers and industry stakeholders, Liverpool Cruise Port continues to drive professional development within the City Region.

Several of the port’s key operational partners will be onsite to discuss active vacancies and the specialized skill sets required for the safe and efficient management of a world-class cruise terminal. Participating organizations and available roles include:
- Southampton Cargo Handling: Rope Handlers, Port Operatives, Plant & FLT Operators, Car Drivers, and Car Parking Service Receptionists.
- Carlisle Security: ISPS Security Officers.
- Presidential Travel: Shuttle Bus Drivers.
- Liverpool Commercial Cleaners: Cleaning Operatives.
- Liverpool City Sights : Bus Drivers, Tour Guides and Ticket Sellers
