A true Liverpool icon, the Superlambanana is a quirky bright yellow sculpture that perfectly captures the city's sense of humor and creative spirit.
The half-lamb, half-banana sculpture was created by Japanese artist Taro Chiezo as a playful nod to the city's trade history. It also makes an ironic statement about the risks of genetic engineering. The original sculpture now sits near the World Museum, and smaller replicas can be spotted all over the city.
